Our CDC Honey Ant is simply a modification of Mike Lawson’s pattern. Mike has been a guide, author, conservationist, fly designer and all around ambassador to the sport his entire life. He has a love affair with spring creeks and has fished the Henry’s Fork forever. If you get a chance, buy his book “Spring Creeks”- you will enjoy it. We tied Mike’s exact pattern and fished it with success- but- decided to try a CDC wing thinking it would add more movement and realism. BINGO!
