Tungsten Torpedo

The Tungsten Torpedo was shown to me by Kevin Compton of Performance Flies. Kevin sowed me how to tie it and expained the basic design- which checks all of the boxes for a “competition” fly pattern. It has a slim, segmented body, dubbed collar and tungsten bead- all which causes the fly to have a very fast sink rate. I have fished this pattern, in several different body colors, across the United States and in several European countries with great success.
Each “Fly-Kit”tm includes:
