The Black Woolhead Leech is a simple pattern that resembles several other tier’s patterns. We are not claiming origination, just suggesting you try this deadly fly. We typically fish this fly for smallmouth bass in our area, but we have used it for larger trout as well. Did I mention this is my absolutely favorite smallmouth bass pattern? Hint…Hint.
