The Clark Creek series was developed as we fished a cold mountain stream in Pennsylvania called Clark Creek. Clark Creek is a 30 mile long tributary of the Susquehanna River in Dauphin County offering plenty of Trout fishing opportunities. While we had taken quite a few Trout on Copper John’s- I just kept thinking a pattern that didn’t sink as fast and didn’t have as much “shine” might be more productive. Staying up all night in the hotel, messing with different prototype patterns, is how the Clark Creek came about. The result, by accident, is this deadly pattern that has all the “fixins”– a juicy body, dark active wing case/thorax/legs and a tungsten bead to add some weight and just a touch of flash.
We have included 3 colors of dubbing in each kit so you can tie several different patterns. If you use weighted or beadhead nymphs- try the Clark Creek series!
Each “Fly-Kit”tm includes:
