Mice patterns and “mousing” has become quite popular by fly-fishers, chasing everything from bass in farm ponds, to large Brown trout at night- in total darkness. Our close friend Chris Helm tied his signature Deer Hair Mouse for years and to be honest most folks thought he tied it to catch kids & people- but he actually fished it. And, very successfully I might add. This pattern, that we have named the Cross-cut Mouse, was first showed to us by Davy Wotton of the U.K. Since it has a foam underbody, it is light enough to throw with smaller rods for Trout and obviously is a perfect pattern for larger rods for Bass.
Each “Fly-Kit”tm includes:
