“River god” Emerger

Dennis Potter, of northern Michigan, calls himself the “river-god”. While we are not sure about all of that, we are sure most of his flies are simple, durable and productive! Perhaps my favorite and most used pattern of his, is his Emerger. I call it a “system” fly, because as long as you have various colors of thread and dubbing, you can tie different Mayfly hatch matching patterns. We fish this fly for just about every predictable hatch that we encounter. Our kits includes a number of different color combos.
